Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and author who won several Awards. Her movies are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). New York was her home and she grew up in an environment that was artistic. She started as a photo assistant later moved into acting and modeling. Her first two movies she received recognition and was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major smash and brought her world recognition and several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. Within just three short films MacGraw became the most popular female box office star worldwide. In 1972, her foot-prints along with her signature were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers was released. MacGraw married three people.
