Lis Wiehl was born on August 19, 1962 and is a former Fox News legal analyst.
She has been an adjunct professor in Law at New York Law School and was previously Associate Professor at the University of Washington Law School. Legal commentaries have been provided to National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She's appeared as a guest on The O'Reilly Factor and Your World With Neil Cavuto. The Kelly File is a show with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs, as well as the Imus Morning Shows.
Wiehl is she is a Yakima native, who attended West Valley High School. She earned her bachelor's in English from Barnard College, followed by a master of arts in literature from University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor for the US Attorney's Office. She was a legal reporter for NPR's All Things Considered. She served as the "deputy chief investigatory attorney for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's re-election. She taught law as a tenured professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle which she was the manager of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 through 2001. From 2001 until the year 2017 Wiehl worked as a legal analyst for Fox News.
