Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She attended Arnold School Blackpool, where she received straight A grades throughout her A-levels. When asked about her Emmerdale character she stated that it is regrettable not having had a typical University experience. Coleman was as Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival with a company named In Yer Space, which she was part of during her time at school. She was awarded an award in recognition of her performance. The production was also praised. While auditioning for drama school, Coleman was offered the role that she played in Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. Coleman was nominated for awards in 2007 and won two awards. In 2007 Coleman was nominated in 2007 for two awards: for the British Soap Awards as the Most Popular Newcomer, as well as the National Television Awards as the Most Popular. The 2009 British Soap Awards she was nominated in the Best Actress Sexiest Female and the Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman has been nominated as Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March 2012 press meeting that Coleman will play Matt Smith's companion following Karen Gillan left. Moffat selected her to play the role as she was the most efficient with Smith and spoke faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been involved within the film industry since 1987. She has however been more well-known on TV than in films. Eva is well-known for her work as Doctor. Maria Santos on All My Children and the character Natalia Boa Vistas in CSI Miami. Eva was nominated for two "Daytime Emmys" in the first role while she was also given the an opportunity to explore the musical side of her. Eva is also a philanthropist, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Eva has three husbands and two children from the first.
